Women Enhancing Lives Through Leadership (WELL)
This Women's Leadership program is a network of women committed to improving lives in Cass and Clay counties through investment of leadership, fundraising and community service. The program focuses on three leadership areas below, with the ultimate goal of passing along a passion for women’s philanthropy.
Growing
Enjoy the camaraderie as you learn and grow from a variety of networking, educational and fun events. You’ll be invited to a series of programs throughout the year to explore issues and interests pertinent to area women. You will be encouraged to participate in United Way activities and tour our partner agencies to see your dollars at work.
Giving
Volunteer individually or with other leaders in your choice projects for United Way and our affiliated agencies. You can also get involved by matching your interests and skills to board and committee positions with United Way or affiliated agencies or programs. You’ll also have opportunities to teach the value of volunteering to your children by participating as a family. The opportunities are endless.
Guiding
Be a WELL Ambassador within your organization, community or professional area. Ambassadors are professional, positive, knowledgeable female representatives for United Way of Cass-Clay and its leadership program. You will serve as a mentor to the next generation of female philanthropists. And, you’ll help spread the word about WELL and encourage women to get involved.
