Planned Giving
A planned gift is a future gift of assets. These gifts are generally directed to our endowment fund. Only the income generated by the endowment is used each year, providing a stable source of funds for future generations.
Planned gifts can take many forms and may require the services of a financial planning professional. But most planned gifts are as simple as naming the United Way of Cass-Clay in your will or as beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Depending on the nature of the gift, there may be significant tax advantages to the donor. Many people choose to remember a loved one with a planned gift. And there is no better way to make a lasting difference in our community and leave a powerful message about the ideals, values and organizations that were important to you during your lifetime.
